CYC Adventures

Industry

Outdoor Youth Development

CYC Adventures partners with schools and educators to deliver transformative outdoor camps that support the social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth of young people. Grounded in their THRIVE philosophy, CYC creates safe and inspiring environments where students build resilience, deepen relationships, and discover their true potential through real-world, nature-based experiences.

Client Challenge

CYC Burleigh (as they were known at the beginning) is a multi-site adventure camp organisation. As such, after almost 80 years, the name based on its original location, no longer suited the growth in locations and development in core positioning that the not for profit organisation had become. Therefore the organisation desired to look at a new name and identity that was more appropriate. In addition a new, better positioned and SEO-optimised website was required to enable a better customer experience and journey. Additionally, there was a need to increase enquiries for long term growth.

Strategic Approach

Following an initial Strategy Explorer workshop, we embarked on setting the best foundations from which to grow, that met CYC’s immediate needs. The solutions provided derived from going through the marketing process, from market orientation, to strategy, to plan, to delivery.

Business leaders that we speak with aren’t short on ambition. But they're holding back…

Don’t know where to start?

Been burned by marketing that didn’t work?

Don’t have clarity on what success should look like?

The result? Missed opportunities, wasted potential and a brand that’s invisible when it matters most.
