The Brief

Client

Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA)

Industry

Media

The CBAA supports over 300 members — around 90% of Australia’s community radio licensees — by providing essential services, advocacy and support to ensure community broadcasting remains a vibrant, vital part of Australia’s media and cultural landscape.

Client Challenge

As the media landscape rapidly evolved, CBAA faced the challenge of maintaining industry connection, visibility, and engagement across a highly dispersed network. The organisation needed to communicate complex initiatives, from a national conference; regulatory changes to digital innovation, and member education, in ways that were both accessible and impactful. With major projects such as the launch of the Community Radio Plus app, the rollout of new Codes of Practice, and the need to deliver sector-wide training during the pandemic, CBAA required a trusted strategic and creative partner capable of translating its vision into clear, engaging, and cohesive communications across multiple channels.

Strategic Approach

We have worked with CBAA on various projects since 2020. Each one has been a unique part of the outworking of CBAA’s business and marketing strategy, which we understand and refer to in the development of each project.
